Pipe Fitters' Training Center Local Union 597 teaches all of our technicians how to properly install and service all refrigerants, and how to manage leaks in all systems. The following items are just a part of our training:

CFC Certification Proper refrigeration piping practices Proper brazing techniques Brazing certification (UA-51) Annual leak testing procedures Knowledge of leak “hotspots” Overall system performance and requirements Hands on training on all types of piping connections.

	2^ND YEAR APPRENTICE, FRANK WHITE IS PERFORMING A LEAK CHECK PROCEDURE, ON THE TYPICAL LOCATIONS OF LEAKS ON A CARRIER CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER.
2^ND YEAR APPRENTICE, FRANK WHITE IS CONTINUING PERFORMING A LEAK CHECK PROCEDURE, LOCATING LEAKS IN ACKWARD POSITIONS ARE COMMON ON CARRIER CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER.
	2^ND YEAR APPRENTICE, DAN O’DYWER IS PERFORMING A LEAK CHECK PROCEDURE, ON THE TYPICAL LOCATIONS OF LEAKS ON A TRANE CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER.
2^ND YEAR APPRENTICE, DAN O’DYWER IS CONTINUING PERFORMING A LEAK CHECK PROCEDURE, LOCATING LEAKS IN ELECTRICAL TERMINALS ARE COMMON ON TRANE CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER.
	2^ND YEAR APPRENTICE, MIKE MCGRATH IS PERFORMING A LEAK CHECK PROCEDURE, ON THE TYPICAL LOCATIONS OF LEAKS ON A MCQUAY CENTRIFUGAL CHILLER.
2^ND YEAR APPRENTICE, MIKE MCGRATH IS CONTINUING PERFORMING A LEAK CHECK PROCEDURE, LOCATING LEAKS IN DIFFICULT TO REACH AREAS.THE LEAK DETECTOR THAT MIKE MCGRATH IS USING,CAN DETECT A LEAK THAT IS AS SMALL AS A ¼ OF AN OUNCE OF REFRIGERANT PER YEAR.
